I absolutely love this idea!! Last year, my students took home their journal once a week for parents to look through, but I love the idea of having the students write directly to their parents each week. Thank you so much for sharing this idea!
I absolutely love this idea! I wanted to find a better way for the students to communicate with the parents about what we are doing in class. It is great how the students can practice their writing skills and the class can brainstorm together about what we did all week. So many kids forget what they have done during the week. Thank you for sharing your letter to the parents! I will be using this for sure come September. :)
