Ready or not! The Common Core is coming and my school is kinda-sorta rolling it out this year. To help me (and my students), I created some ELA Common Core cards with student-friendly wording on them. Each strand is on its' own card and they are index card sized. The cards fit perfectly in an index card box:
I didn't have an index card box and I am stuck in the house with a car that doesn't work, but this cute little Target Dollar Spot find does the trick!
Included in the set are also divider tabs to separate the different strands, so that they are easier to find when you need them.
All of the cards are color-coded by strand and the divider tab is the same color.
Lastly, since these cards are in student-friendly words (I can statements), they are perfect for displaying in the classroom! I included a title for you to use to display the cards in a pocket chart or on a bulletin board:
Check it out in my store today!
and the Math version:
It is only available in my TpT store right now, TN was being all sorts of funky and I couldn't get it to upload (it froze my computer instead). I'll try again tomorrow! Keep your eye out for more Common Core materials coming your way too!
And, of course, this item is part of my Back to School sale that starts tomorrow!
WOW! This is great. I have it in my cart. Are you planning on making a math one?

I really like how your organized your common core I can statements. Mine are all in a bucket and I have to search through ALL of them. I will be borrowing your organizational tip. :-)
