Laminator Giveaway!

My doorbell rang the other day and let's just say, I wasn't dressed ready to open the door (PJs at 3pm anyone??).  I went anyway and luckily the UPS guy was already walking back down the street.   Look what was waiting for me:

My very own laminator!!!  It is a Papermonster laminator from MyBinding.com.  To say I was excited is a little bit of an understatement.  I ripped that puppy open right away.  Here are some of the things I noticed right away:

1. It's nice and compact.  It laminates pages 8 1/2 x 11 as well as 11 x 17 pages but it is so small!  I put my IPod next to it as a reference:

2.  It comes with stickers so you can decorate it!  Umm how cool is that?

3. Underneath the laminator, there is space to store the cord.  Let me tell you how many products that I own that have wires going every which way and get caught in everything.  Problem solved!

Now it's time to get started!  I turned it on and waited for the blue light to come on:

While I was waiting, I put my materials into the sleeve.  Just open it up and lay the pieces inside:

We are ready to go!  On it's way through the laminator:

Yes, it is that much fun to watch!  It was so quiet as it was laminating as well.  No noise at all!  And it worked pretty quickly as well.  Only took a few seconds to laminate the 11 x 17 size pouch.  Look how great it turned out:

I was very surprised by how durable the laminate is.  Our school laminator is nice, but it tends to be a little flimsy.  This one is not at all!  I was so very impressed! 

I am now completely obsessed with this thing.  I have already laminated so much stuff since I opened it - anything I can get my hands on!  Now I have to cut it out...that's the hard part.
