I love your morning organization. I noticed how you used numbers for helpers as opposed to the child's name. I like that idea since we are such a transient building. Amy (akenyon@bgcs.k12.oh.us)
Love the organization for the morning. I have them leave everything in their D.O.G. (Daily Organized Gals/Guys Binder)...But this looks like less work for me. :-)
You are SO organized! I love all of your morning procedures. I definitely plan on rethinking my morning procedures this summer! Would love to hear more about your morning journals!
I was so inspired by your job chart that I made one of my own. I will be blogging about it (giving you credit for it, of course) soon. Thanks for the inspiration! http://begborrowandteach.blogspot.com/
I just posted about my new job chart based on what you do in this post (giving you credit, of course)! http://begborrowandteach.blogspot.com/2012/04/classroom-jobs-freebie.html
Thank you for sharing your classroom. Lots of great ideas here! And I'm sure there is plenty more in yout back to school pack! Renate renate.schultz@gmail.com
I like your jobs board... I've always kept my jobs for a week, sometimes two. Do the kids mind having the same job for a whole month? brynne.zachow@gmail.com
Everything looks so organized! I'm surprised you keep the same job for a full month, though. I try to switch mine every other week. Do your kids tire of having the same job? Are they upset they will not have a turn doing each job?
Wow you are organized! I would love to know what your students morning journals look like and what type of work they do in the morning!! Thanks for sharing!
Love how you set up the bins for the morning!

Hi Laura!
ReplyDeleteThey are puzzle pieces. I got them off of Amazon. They are perfect - each student gets their own piece!
You are so inspirational! After teaching for nearly twenty years, your classroom has inspired me to go in and "shake out the cobwebs"...thanks!
