Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm not a huge Valentine's Day fan, I admit it.  However, my mind is open to change.  Here are a few things that may have helped:

These beautiful flowers arrived in my classroom this morning at the same exact time as my {very excited} students.  Talk about crazy!  Love my husband!  They totally made my day.  Although, the car ride home was interesting.  Keeping those things from tipping over for 45 minutes was a challenge, let me tell you.

And then I opened my Valentine Exchange present!

I was so, so, so excited!!!  I've wanted one of these cups for the longest time!  Thank you so much Tera!  And I love me some Coldstone...that giftcard will be put to good use!

I'm sad though.  The straw broke during shipping :(  Does anyone know if the companies that make these will send me just the straw??  I want to use it (and show it off) so bad!  I know there are quite a few sellers on Etsy that make these and I'm not sure which one mine came from.

In other good news, we got our state test scores back from October.  My kids don't take it until they are in third grade, so I checked to see how my last year's kiddos did.  And O. M. G. they did AWESOME!! I was so happy and proud of them.  It was one of those {very} rewarding teacher moments for sure.

And since it is also Time-Out Tuesday, I'll leave you with this tidbit:

Duh, Mrs. Soucy, how else?

And I am so super jealous of your flowers! I was crossing my fingers all day that my boyfriend would send me some... but nope! Maybe next year if I mention it for the 13 days before, haha!

    Marvelous Multiagers!

  2. Ha- kids are so funny. Pretty flowers! : ) I had some flowers delivered to me a couple weeks ago and within the first turn they had fallen over. So pretty but such a hassle to transport!!

  6. Hahaha - I LOVE the student's answer. If it isn't going to be "correct" at least it's funny and makes sense to him/her. :-)
